Catholic Charities' Events
Catholic Charities receives no funding from the Diocesan Development Fund or from the United Way. The programs operated by Catholic Charities are almost entirely funded by individual donations from the good people of eastern Oklahoma.
Two percent comes from federal funding, and approximately ten percent of income represents gifts from foundations. The result is a highly dynamic organization that is a reflection of the values of our donors.
Catholic Charities has specific events to raise funds and awareness each year. They are as follows:
2008 Madonna House Autumn Harvest Vendor Registration Forms Fall Arts and Crafts Show in support of Catholic Charities' Madonna House. Saturday, September 20th, 2008 -- 9am - 5pm --Bishop Kelley High School
Run for Life/Walk for Adoption Fun, family event that provides needed funding for birth mothers. Sunday, Nov. 9th, 2008 ---2pm - 4pm -- Christ the King Parish
Cooking Up Compassion Winter event that includes dinner and a live auction in support of all Catholic Charities' programs. Friday, Feb. 6th, 2009 -- 6pm-11pm--Renaissance Hotel
Madonna House Tea Spring Tea and Fashion Show in support of Catholic Charities' Madonna House. Time TBD
